Dema Della Collina Del Corso: ENCI 18/149019, ICCF 2201942. FCI Hips B, Elbows BL, Cardiac Normal. DOB: 07/16/2018: I approached Dema’s breeder Alfonso Ventola in the Naples region of Italy initially for one of her puppies. Alfonso is a wonderful, warm, caring breeder who told me to buy Dema instead of a puppy. To import an adult dog is always a risk and very very expensive. It is a leap of faith. Alfonso ensured me that Dema was “super” and boy was he right. Beautiful inside and out, Dema has become the heart of our home. In fact, when I think of home, I think immediately of Dema. She is so maternal and her love for our family and friends is immense. Instinctively and purely Dema loves children. She is drawn to them. Her black face and soulful eyes are from another time. I am sure she has been here before. Dema is wise, loving, gentle, and a wonderful Mama. She has become my husband’s darling girl. She throws her temperament to her puppies and we couldn’t ask for a better addition to our breeding or our home. We hope to have one or two more litters with Dema and then she can retire and be a full time couch patate for our family!
Daisy: ICCF 2400912 Degenerative Myelopathy DNA test - Clear (2 copies of normal allele). Health testing to be done. DOB: 4/27/2022: We kept two girls back from our second litter with Dema (Daisy & Fiametta). Their father is Buca. In these two females I see the beginning of the correct expression in their eyes in my lines. Lean, sinuous musculature, deep broad chests, these girls are developing beautifully. Daisy is all black with natural ears, and beautiful hazel eyes with the proper expression, long snouts, tight jowls. I am very pleased with this litter. They both have loving temperaments, more protective than Dema with strangers. These girls are very imposing, just their presence is a deterrent even as youngsters!

Fiametta: ICCF 240911 Health testing to be done. DOB: 4/27/2022: We two girls back from our second litter with Dema. Their father is Buca. In these two females I see the beginning of the correct expression in their eyes in my lines. Lean, sinuous musculature, deep broad chests, these girls are developing beautifully. Fiametta is a dark blue with no brindle with cropped ears. Fiametta means “little flame” and she is on fire! Beautiful hazel eyes with the proper expression, long snouts, tight jowls I am very pleased with this litter. They both have loving temperaments, more protective than Dema with strangers. These girls are very imposing, just their presence is a deterrent even as youngsters!
Zucca: ICCF 2400880. Health testing pending. DOB: 7/22/22: Zucca means pumpkin in Italian. She is my little pumpkin! Her parents are Buca and Carina. She is full of sass, mischief and is determined to test all of us. A diva is born! She is an extraordinary puppy. Beautiful and tough, with none of the sweetness of her father and all of the naughtiness of her mother. My sons always ask why I keep the feisty ones, it is because I love them! I can’t wait to see how my Principessa develops!
Brera: I Molossi Della Macchia: ENCI: 20/38253 ICCF 2307121. FCI HD A, Elbows 0. Degenerative Myelopathy DNA - Clear (2 copies of normal allele). DOB 01/01/20: We imported Brera from Lucio Farina, another breeder in Puglia. Brera’s colour is Grigio piombo, or lead gray in English. Brera is a very powerful, correct old style Corso. Long snout, tight skin and jowls, she is an imposing female. Brera exhibits cat like movement. Brera is always aware of her surroundings and her people. She is discerning about who she likes, but is very loyal and loving towards those she accepts. Even though she hasn’t been here long she has bonded very quickly and strongly to me. I adore her. A very regal dog with an old soul I can’t wait to see what she produces here for us.
Frida: I Molossi Della Macchia. DOB: 11/22/2021: ENCI ROI 22/23051, ICCF 2400559. OFA Cardia-Normal, OFA Hips-Fair-prelims, OFA Elbows-Normal-Prelims. Degenerative Myelopathy - clear (2 copies of normal allele). Call name Kazz. Our wonderful Kazzy Girl was also bred by Lucio Farina in Italy. Kazz has the opposite temperament of Brera. While Brera is reserved and aloof with strangers, Kazz is happy to meet everyone and thoroughly enjoys any and all attention she can get! Kazz is very athletic and agile. She loves to run around and frolic with her friend Cirro. Kazz is sweet, loving, attentive and adoring of her family. We can't wait to see what she throws for us!
Pantera: DOB: 05/14/2023: ENCI ROI 22/23051, ICCF 2401212. Health testing pending. By Buca out of Brera I Molossi Della Macchia. Pantera is a stunning example of old style Cane Corso with her dark, rich blue colour, taut facial skin and tidy jowls. Her expressionless stare reflects a stealth dog that is soft and loving with our family, yet showing willingness to defend her people. She is a fine example of what we strive to produce.
